Business Name:
Daily Bread Tap

In an age of endless notifications and constant digital noise, high school junior Claire Warta is creating a quiet revolution. Her business, Daily Bread Tap, combines technology with intention—offering a simple, meaningful way to engage with Scripture every day. At just 17 years old, Claire is the latest recipient of the Formidable Fellowship, and we couldn’t be more excited to support her mission.
From Frustration to Innovation
The idea for Daily Bread Tap was born from personal experience. Claire was gifted a bracelet embedded with a Bible verse, powered by an NFC (near-field communication) chip. When the product stopped working and failed to direct her to the correct verses, Claire did something few teens would: she researched how to build a better one.
“I got really frustrated because I loved the concept,” she explained. “So I decided to figure it out myself.”
And she did. Claire learned how to program NFC chips, taught herself how to design and 3D print keychains, and built a website—all without prior technical experience. “I’m not a tech person,” she said humbly during our interview, but her rapid development of this hardware-meets-faith product says otherwise.
Building More Than Just a Product
Daily Bread Tap is a keychain embedded with an NFC chip that, when tapped by a phone, directs users to a rotation of Bible verses. Unlike a bracelet that might get lost or wear out, the keychain is durable, always with you, and always pointing back to Scripture.
Claire’s focus isn’t just on utility—it’s on connection. Each order is packed with care, often including stickers and handwritten thank-you notes. “I love having a physical product that can connect with people,” she said. “It makes the interaction feel real.”
Claire initially launched the business by gifting one of her first prototypes. That single gesture sparked word-of-mouth momentum, and before long, people were approaching her at church asking to buy their own. Now, thanks to orders from friends, family, and even her uncle’s congregation, she’s sold more than 20 units in a single order.
Lessons Beyond the Classroom
Despite taking business classes at school, Claire says most of her practical skills have come from The Journey, an entrepreneurship program for teens. Through this program, she was paired with two mentors who help her navigate everything from packaging to pricing to social media marketing.
“It teaches you all the stuff you don’t learn in school,” Claire explained. “Things like how to market, how to build a website, how to talk to customers.”
Claire credits her mentors with helping her refine her pitch, explore new sales channels, and build confidence—especially when it comes to posting on social media, something that initially intimidated her.
“I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in front of the camera,” she admitted. “But I realized people connect better when they see your face and hear your story.”
Entrepreneurship Runs in the Family
Claire’s journey is uniquely her own, but she comes from a family of go-getters. Her brother runs a mobile detailing business and attends Grand Canyon University (GCU), where Claire hopes to enroll as well. GCU’s Canyon Ventures program—a space for student entrepreneurs to build real companies—has already caught her eye.
“I saw how much freedom running his own business gave him,” Claire said of her brother. “I want that freedom too—the ability to control my time and pursue something that matters to me.”
Her parents, both real estate agents and former business owners, have also played a part in fostering a household where ideas are encouraged and entrepreneurship is normalized. Dinner conversations often include brainstorming sessions where Claire and her siblings toss out startup ideas.
What’s Next for Daily Bread Tap?
Claire’s vision for Daily Bread Tap is far from static. In the next 12–18 months, she hopes to expand her reach through collaborations with Christian summer camps and local faith-based boutiques. She’s exploring custom keychain designs tailored to specific themes or events—starting with a camp that attracts 2,000 attendees each summer.
She’s also ramping up her social media presence and testing which kinds of videos connect best with her audience. Whether it’s showing her 3D printing process or offering daily devotional snippets, Claire is putting herself out there in new and courageous ways.
Dreaming Big, Staying Grounded
With a sharp mind, generous heart, and determined spirit, Claire Warta is showing that faith and innovation aren’t mutually exclusive—they’re a powerful combination. Her dream? To grow Daily Bread Tap into a widely recognized brand that continues to share the gospel in new and creative formats.
She envisions expanding her product line, increasing online visibility, and someday scaling up manufacturing. But no matter how big Daily Bread Tap gets, Claire’s goal remains the same:
“To help people spend more time in the Word. That’s what it’s all about.”
We’re proud to support Claire through the Formidable Fellowship and can’t wait to see where her vision takes her.
